Signing in

Open the app, enter the email your account uses, and type the code we email you. No code? Check spam, wait a minute and ask for a new one, then use the code from the newest email. Accounts are opened when a card is bought on tap.serviceaihq.com.

Calls don't ring the app

Allow notifications and the microphone for Tap in Settings, keep the app signed in, and check Do Not Disturb or a Focus is not silencing it. Calls you miss go to the AI receptionist if it is on, otherwise to voicemail.

The AI receptionist

It answers calls you miss, says it is an AI, takes a message or hands the call to you, and files a transcript in Messages. Set its business details and choose its voice in the app.

Contacts and blocked numbers

Import from your address book picks people one at a time; only those you pick are sent, and they ring you directly. To stop a caller or texter, open Menu → Blocked numbers. Report abuse from the same screen.

Which cards work

Any NFC Forum Type 2 tag — NTAG213, NTAG215, or NTAG216. An NTAG215 holds 540 bytes; a card address uses about 28 of them, so capacity is never the limit. Cards must be unlocked and not password-protected.

"This card is locked and can't be rewritten"

The tag was made read-only, which is permanent and cannot be undone on that tag. Use a new card.

The write fails or won't start

The NFC antenna is at the top edge on the back of an iPhone, not the centre. Hold the card flat against that area and keep it still. Remove thick cases and present only one card at a time.

Tapping the card does nothing

Close any other NFC app first — an app with an open reader session intercepts the tag. On iPhone, iOS shows a notification banner that must be tapped once before the page opens; that is an iOS behaviour and no app can bypass it. NFC scanning also requires the phone to be unlocked and awake.

Re-pointing a card

You never need to rewrite a card. A card's address is permanent; where it sends people is a setting you can change at any time, and the change takes effect on the next tap.

Deleting your account or your data

In the app: Menu → Delete account, then type your email to confirm. Your profile, contacts, messages, call log, analytics, cards and number are removed at once and any subscription is cancelled; it cannot be undone. Not a customer, or want only some data removed?
